2020 Summit

Over the last several months we’ve all had to find new and clever ways to balance our changing personal lives with our changing professional lives. Throughout all of this upheaval, the overall demand for BIM coordination has continued to push forward, and our tools and services have stayed relevant and useful. It has been exciting to watch an industry that is historically slow to change adopt new techniques and find a way to continue forward. And as we move forward, we’re looking to find new ways to adapt, adopt new techniques, and create meaningful product experiences that give even more value to your work.

In order to do this, we’re hosting our first FlyPaper Summit next month. The idea behind our Summit is an entirely virtual series of discussions centered around getting to know our company and our products, as well as sharing how people have been using FlyPaper on job sites across the world. Above all, we aim to engage all of you in open discussions about how we can improve and what gaps the construction industry as a whole needs filled. We hope you’ll attend so we can better harness your boots-on-the-ground expertise to craft the ideas of tomorrow, while simultaneously getting you acquainted with our tools available today.

Here’s a quick rundown of our agenda during the FlyPaper Summit 2020, which will begin August 12 and conclude on August 13.

Summit Agenda

Keynote – August 12th, 12:30 – 1:55 EDT

You’ll hear from our founder Nick Fredricks, as he talks about FlyPaper, where we started, and where we’re going. He’ll bring you up to speed on what we’ve been doing the last year and what’s in store in the year to come. Specifically highlighting some of our new technologies and services. Additionally, we’ll elaborate a bit on what’s on the agenda for the remainder of the Summit.

FlyPaper Sherlock – August 12th, 2:05 – 3:00 EDT

For those of you unfamiliar with Sherlock, you’ll get a quick introduction. Additionally, you will hear from various customers regarding how FlyPaper Sherlock has eased the BIM coordination process on both large projects and small. You’ll get to see the near-term roadmap as well as have some time to ask questions regarding anything related to Sherlock!

FlyPaper Daily – August 13th, 12:30 – 1:25 EDT

Daily is a new product we’ve been developing that is ready for a grand reveal. It’s easy-to-use cross-platform and cross-device technology for easily inputting daily subcontractor information. It’s been in use on job sites for more than a year in private beta and you’ll hear from some of our beta testers about their experience using Daily. You’ll also get to see the Daily near-term roadmap.

Fireside Chat  – August 13th, 1:35 – 3:00 EDT

Our goal here is to dialog with all of you about our current products, and ideas for products we could make in the future.

Get involved in a discussion between Nick and myself as we recap our corporate vision, dialog about what we’re trying to achieve as a company, and how we plan to get there. We’ll spend some time sharing our lessons learned through building FlyPaper and our observations on the state of the construction software tooling business.

Conclusion

We’re very excited and have a lot to share with you all about FlyPaper. Please join us for what is shaping up to be an inspiring Summit.
